Our Policies & More:

Cancellations:

Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee.

In the event of inclement weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period. Please do your best to contact us for any reason you may not be able to make your dog's grooming appointment!

No-Shows/Late Fees:

It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.

We do not accept pets more than 10 minutes past their appointment time, but if the groomer is able to still accept the pet, a late fee of $1 per minute past that 10 minute grace period will be applied. We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show".

"De-matting":

We charge a fee de-matting fee of $45/per hour. This fee is charged at the groomer's discretion, and is based on the extra amount of time the de-matting process adds to the service.
"De-matting" can mean shaving or brushing matting out. We will not brush out a dog that does not tolerate it, and we will not brush out matting that is too close to the skin. We want to avoid any discomfort, and shaving is often the safest and most comfortable option for the pups. 

Daycare Fee:

We take pride in being able to offer a "kennel-free experience"  for our pups. However, this means we do not have the space to keep dogs longer than their scheduled appointment times. 
We make sure to send a text 20 minutes before your dog is ready--if you need more than a 20 minute heads up, please communicate that to your groomer!
If you are unavailable for a prompt pickup, our daycare fees start at $25, and can increase depending on the amount of time your pup is left at the salon.

Rabies/Flea & Ticks:

All dogs are required by law to have an up-to-date Rabies vaccination in order to be groomed. We strongly recommend Bordetella and Distemper vaccinations because we are kennel-free, but those vaccinations are not required. 
Because we are kennel-free, we also require dogs to be on flea and tick preventatives. If we see living fleas on a dog, services will be stopped, and you will be called to pick up your pet immediately. Payment for any services completed will be due at the time of pickup. 

Questions/Comments/Concerns:

We're always willing to answer any questions you may have! We want to be fully transparent about anything having to do with your pet. We understand the anxiety of leaving your dog with new people for a few hours at a time. Please never hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns, and we'll do our best to ease any anxiety you may have.

Refunds:

If the full service is completed, we do not offer any full or partial refunds.
All services can be retouched within 48 hours of the original service—if you’re unhappy with anything having to do with your pet’s service, we’ll happily fix it for free in that 48-hour window.
